Frozen Summer

image

Wondering why I am wearing winter clothes during summer? Well thats because I spent my day on ice. Recently, SM Megamall re-opened the ice skating rink in the new wing, where they will also be opening stores like Zara, Misselfridge, Topshop, Pull & Bear, Bershka and of course the much awaited opening of H&M. I am sure most of you are as excited as I am, since I love H&M as they are known for their style, quality and affordability.

For my ice skating experience, I would say I really enjoyed it. It was cool and fun. Definitely a great summer activity with friends. I was surprised  though that there were so many people even if it was a weekday. Well, I guess since it’s summer break so traffic is much more than the usual. I went there around 3pm and there weren’t any small sizes available for ice skates so my friends and I had to go back after our movie around 7pm. According to the staff there, there is less traffic on weekdays, during the opening 10am and 7pm so if you want to go ice skating with no much people, those are the best times to go. One thing I noticed from my last skating experience in Megamall (around 6 years ago) was that the quality of the ice skates are much better than the ones before, which makes it easier to skate in and glide. Well, I haven’t been able to practice much but hopefully I get to in the future.

Country Denim

There are so many ways to match denim since it’s easy to pair. You can go from casual, dressy, punk, boho, sweet or almost any look you want but for today I will be focusing on denim and denim. This outfit came to my mind when I was thinking of a new summer look, which I haven’t done so I immediately tried mix and matching different shades of denim with a little country feel. It may not look so obvious since my vest has a very light shade but my ootd for today is composed of a washed out denim vest and denim dress which I paired with, a straw fedora hat, an olive green sling bag and brown belt and shoes.

Stripes and Braids

It’s finally SUMMER so dropped the florals and pink today and turned to the nautical direction. Of course, the most common print for nautical is stripes so matched my stripes top with a common nautical shade, red, for my bag. Also, wore some black shorts since I noticed some people commenting on my lookbook account that I rarely wear shorts, so here it is. What do you think?

Lace Back Romper

As I was checking my blog, I came to realize that I made a huge mistake. I forget to post my previous entry “Royal Blue” and left it in the draft box so for those who clicked the link I posted last sunday and monday, sorry for that.

Setting that aside, my entry for today is a late outfit post. I don’t even know why I posted this so late since it is one of my favorites. To be honest, I am not really fond of wearing rompers since its hard to use (If you know what I mean). However, this particular one made me think twice since it very simple but elegant. I love the plain front with the black lace back of this look. This is one of my examples of a day to night look since the nude color romper is a day shade while the black details of this outfit makes is more for a night out.

Royal Blue

A night out with some college friends. Felt like wearing something plain yet sophisticated so I pulled out my royal blue dress. Although it is very simple, it is very chic and dressy. Also, I love that it easy to match so it goes well with almost everything. As I have mentioned before, I will be drawing some of my ootds just to add a new touch to my blog and to practice my drawing skills as well. Check it out at the end of this blog (Just scroll down).
